Qualitrol Account Manager

General Purpose of the Position:

  • The role of Account Manager (AM) on the Qualitrol Inside Sales Team handles all in-coming customer and buyer inquiries with the intent of selling Qualitrol’s full offering of parts and services
  • The AM is the primary liaison with existing and potential customers, recommending products and services needed to solve their automation needs.
  • The AM should continuously build relationships with existing customers and convert leads generated from company’s websites into buying customers, to reach revenue and gross margin goals assigned to the sale team.
  • The AM will make outbound calls to established customers and target prospects to generate additional revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Convince customers to purchase company’s goods and services by offering solutions with the features and benefits that meet customer’s needs
  • Have a good understanding of the products and services that Qualitrol provides and a good understanding of the target customers’ needs and business drivers
  • Establish relationships with customers to insure recurring sales
  • Recommend additional and complimentary products
  • Make out-going calls to established accounts and target accounts to generate additional revenue
  • Prepare quotes for customers and follow up to close the order
  • Enter customer-specific information into company’s CRM system
  • Enter customer orders into company’s ERP system
  • Attend product and sales training sessions provided by company

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Experience with industrial sales preferred
  • Anticipates customer needs and develops appropriate solutions, consistently placing a high value on customers.
  • Initiates and develops business relationships in a positive way and persuades others in a positive manner.
  • Driven to attain sales goals and initiates relevant sales activities toward achieving these goals.
  • Ability to multi-task and committed to meeting customer requests and deadlines

Education and Experience Required:

  • At least 2-year Associates Degree
  • 2+ years sales experience
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of software tools
