Announcing the Launch of Proficy® RX
GE Fanuc’s Comprehensive PAT Solution for the Life Sciences Industry
PAT is a system for designing, analyzing and controlling manufacturing through timely measurements of critical quality and performance attributes of raw and in-process materials. The ultimate goal of PAT is to achieve a depth of process understanding such that all process variability is identified and controlled and the final quality attributes of the end product can be accurately predicted.
GE Fanuc’s Proficy RX solution allows for unprecedented production connectivity, data collection and analysis, and provides a solid foundation for companies seeking to better understand and improve their processes.
The Proficy RX solution is aimed at achieving Process Understanding by providing:
Standardized control and networking of multiple instruments
Preprocessing of captured analytical data
Robust plant data archiving and repository
Interfaces to commercially-available chemometrics packages
Designed for 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance
In order to promote and support the formal product launch, GE Fanuc is hosting an upcoming seminar series in multiple locations around the world designed to illustrate how PAT and other technologies can help today's pharmaceutical manufacturers to drive manufacturing excellence.
Seminar dates & locations include:
9/19: GE Infrastructure Sensing - Billerica, Massachusetts
9/21: GE Healthcare Biosciences - Piscataway, New Jersey
9/26: GE Fanuc Automation - Lombard, Illinois
9/27: South San Francisco Conference Center, San Francisco, California
10/3: GE Healthcare Life Sciences - London, UK
10/5: Blarney Park Hotel - Cork, Ireland
10/10: Novotek - Copenhagen, Denmark
10/13: GE Global Research Center - Munich, Germany
The seminar will include discussions of macro industry trends and drivers behind PAT, a demonstration of GE Fanuc's comprehensive PAT software solution, Proficy RX along with an overview of:
- Proficy Plant Applications for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
- Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) for the Pharmaceutical Market
- Online First Time Quality Monitoring
The seminars will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and breakfast and lunch will be provided. For more detailed information or questions relating to the PAT event, please contact Eric Foellmer at Eric.Foellmer@gefanuc.com or at 508-698-7470.
