Emerson Control Techniques - CT – Motion Control – Digitax ST Servo Drives

Today’s modern lean manufacturing environments require smaller, more flexible machine operations. Emerson/Control Techniques’ Digitax ST Servo Drive is designed to help machine designers and system integrators meet the challenges of today’s motion control applications. The Digitax ST is optimally suited for servo drive applications that require high peak torque, dynamic response, flexible integration features, while being easy to use.

Digitax ST drives are extremely compact servo drives and can be mounted flush against another Digitax ST drive, resulting in a smaller multiple axis footprint. On-board features such as synchronized motion control and Safe Torque Off reduce the need for external components, further reducing panel size and cost.

Digitax ST is quick and easy to set up. The drives may be configured using the removable keypad, SmartCard orthe supplied commissioning software to guide the user through the configuration process.

  • The drive features a safe torque off input which disables the output stage of the drive with a high degree of security. This reduces the cost of complying with machine safety standards such as EN954 Cat 3 and enables the drive to integrate easily with the machine safety system
  • Designed to operate with NT, XV or FM motor lines.
